Akhbar alyoom- Naftali Bennett, the former Prime Minister of Israel, stated in media remarks: "We shot ourselves in the foot, and the official state of Israel collapsed. Our enemies saw that and attacked, just as the Amalekites did.

The Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hayom" revealed Bennett's statements made in a closed event to American business leaders who support Israel, in which he accused Israeli governments of a complete failure and committing a sin, stating: "We failed in our primary task."

According to the newspaper, Bennett spoke in the context of a meeting with supporters of "Eshel Habad," who leads social care initiatives in the occupied state under the leadership of the National Food Security Initiative, which provided 15,000 food cards for families that were evacuated or affected by the economic situation last week." He referred to the reality that led the occupying state into chaos before October 7,

including Hamas attack and court hearings in The Hague at the end of last week.
He also stated: "2023 was a terrible year for Israel. We shot ourselves in the foot, and there was unjustified, terrible hatred. We became weaker, and our enemies saw it, telling themselves that we were weak and seizing us in the midst of our weakness. Just as the Torah speaks of the Amalekites who pursued us. There is no doubt that we will emerge from this. But one thing we cannot bear is hatred among us."

The former prime minister of the occupation emphasized that "Israel and the Jews are going through the toughest times since the Holocaust. Everyone recognizes the terrible and horrifying events that occurred on October 7. It is also important to acknowledge that, in addition to the tragedy, we have also witnessed a complete failure. If we seek improvement, we need to acknowledge our mistakes."

We have failed in our core mission, we never promised that there would be no more resistance. We live in an environment of 'Amalekite terrorists'... we never promised that there would be no resistance. "The 'resistance' has been present and will continue to exist in our region. “However, we promised that there would never be a situation of massacres without protection, and that happened for hours. It will take a long time to figure out where we went wrong and study the failure that lasted weeks and that was not properly organized by the state institutions themselves."

The Israeli occupation continues its attack on Gaza for the fourth consecutive month, amidst ongoing warnings of miserable effects on the Strip's residents due to the hunger caused by increasing food shortages. Meanwhile, the number of displaced people in the sector has exceeded 1.8 million.

On Sunday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced an increase in the toll of the Israeli occupation's aggression on Gaza to 23,968 martyrs, in addition to 60,582 Palestinians injured, mostly women and children.
