Based on the data reviewed by 'Al-mamlaka,' the majority of travelers appeared to be heading to Aqaba, with 11,413 recorded visits. Wadi Rum attracted 1,721 visitors, Petra saw 1,622, and Al-Maghtas had 1,530 visitors, while the remaining individuals were distributed among various locations.
Regarding the figures, it is noteworthy that several locations, like Jerash, Dana Reserve, and Shobak, did not record any visits via 'Our Jordan is Paradise'.
In May 2019, the Jordan Tourism Board and the Ministry of Tourism jointly launched the 'Our Jordan is Paradise' program. The program enhanced the tourist locations it covered since then, except for the period during the global spread of coronavirus.
The 'Our Jordan is Paradise' program is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Authority at a rate exceeding 50% of the total trip cost. It is executed by several tourism organizations and sectors to promote local tourism and encourage people to travel to various tourist spots.
