Akhbar alyoom- Hebrew media revealed the new conditions set by ‘Hamas’ for a new prisoner exchange deal.
Ma'ariv , a Hebrew newspaper, and Channel 12, reported on Saturday evening: Hamas' requirements for a new prisoner exchange deal include the following: complete cessation of war, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, international safeguards to maintain Hamas' regime in the region, and the non-pursuit of Hamas leaders.
Ma'ariv newspaper noted that a prisoner exchange deal in this case could cause a major shock within Tel Aviv, affecting both the government and the entire country.
Member of the Political and Security Council in the occupying entity, Minister Gideon Sa'ar, stated: "Certainly, we will not agree, as it takes us to live in the region again" referring to the conditions set by Hamas.
No statement has been issued by Hamas or the mediators regarding the conditions of a potential agreement for releasing detainees.
On Saturday, "The New York Times" newspaper published interviews with four top officials of the Israeli army who stated that it is currently impossible to achieve the two war-goals declared by the war cabinet, namely, the release of detainees and destructing Hamas.
